Arigato Massage and
Stem Cell Culture Supernatant

Arigato Massage was established in Niseko in 2013 and it is the first store in Hokkaido, which offers facial treatments using stem cell culture supernatant. The treatment is performed by certified therapists recognized by the International Organization of Stem Cells Research and Awareness (ISC).

Stem cells are undifferentiated cells that have the remarkable ability to develop into various specialized cell types in the body. Stem cell culture supernatant refers to the liquid portion of a cell culture medium that contains various factors secreted by stem cells during their growth and proliferation in laboratory conditions. These factors include growth factors, cytokines, and other signaling molecules that are released by the stem cells into the surrounding environment. The stem cell culture supernatant utilized in this treatment is exclusively derived from human bone marrow (mesenchymal stem cells)

Stem Cells

Stem cells are a type of cell with pluripotency, meaning they are not specialized for specific functions or roles. They have the ability to self-replicate and differentiate into various types of cells in the body, aiding in growth and repair. The number of stem cells decreases continuously after the age of 20.

Stem Cell Culture Supernatant

The term for the liquid remaining after all the cultured stem cells have been harvested is "culture supernatant." This supernatant contains a variety of components released during the cultivation process, including cytokines, exosomes, and over 500 types of growth factors.

Facial Treatment with Energy Cream

Theories from the field of regenerative medicine were applied to skincare and, under the supervision of medical professionals, this treatment was developed. The cytokines contained in the supernatant offer unique benefits, such as anti-inflammatory effects, angiogenesis, and the induction of endogenous stem cells, enabling interventions at the cellular level for sustained effectiveness, unlike conventional skincare approaches. Various benefits, such as regeneration of skin, enhanced collagen and elastin production, reduction of inflammation and prevention or improvement of wrinkles are expected by this treatment.
